“I knew I wanted to progress to higher education and pursue a career in psychology and/or criminology. My access course made me realise I was capable and ready to tackle University, and specifically the psychology module reinforced my beliefs about studying the subject at degree level.
“My highlight of university so far is volunteering for the University’s Nightline service. It has been an eye-opener regarding mental health. Uni also made me discover I should be constantly challenging myself which is why I will be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Africa for a children’s charity in August 2018.”
